Dialysis Tubing – Classical Laboratory Dialysis for Larger Sample Volumes
SpectraPor® dialysis tubing enables the separation of molecules of different sizes and is particularly suitable for laboratory dialysis involving larger sample volumes.
Available with molecular weight cut-offs (MWCO) of 3.5 kDa, 6–8 kDa, and 12–14 kDa, they offer flexible options for a wide range of applications. The tubing is made of regenerated cellulose and is chemically pre-treated to remove heavy metals and sulfur compounds, significantly improving sample purity and material compatibility.
Supplied in 15 m and 30 m rolls, SpectraPor® tubing allows easy adaptation to different volume requirements. It is chemically resistant, usable up to +60 °C, and protected against brittleness by glycerin treatment. Practical closure clips and accessories are available for convenient laboratory use.

Classical Dialysis Method – Gentle & Effective
Dialysis tubing is one of the proven methods for sample purification. Inside the tubing, for example, globular proteins and ionic contaminants are contained. During dialysis, small ions diffuse through the semi-permeable membrane into the buffer solution until equilibrium is reached between the inside of the tubing and the buffer.
Larger proteins cannot pass through the membrane and remain inside the dialysis tubing. In this way, interfering contaminants can be removed gently and effectively – ideal for sensitive biomolecules.
