scienova GmbH is based at the Research and Innovation Center in Jena, Thuringia – one of Germany’s leading locations for science and technology.

Innovative Laboratory Dialysis

scienova’s Xpress Dialyzers™ are innovative, ready-to-use dialysis systems for efficient, automated, and gentle sample purification in the laboratory. Designed for small sample volumes from 10 µl to 19 ml and with high sample recovery of up to 98%, they are ideal for a wide range of applications in research and analytics.

Thanks to their special geometry and molecular weight cut-offs (MWCO) ranging from 2 to 140 kDa, the Xpress Dialyzers™ are highly versatile – suitable for purifying proteins, RNA and DNA, for equilibrium dialysis, and for the preparation of nanoparticles.

The systems enable scalable sample processing from 1 to 96 samples, making them suitable for both single analyses and high-throughput processing. Their compatibility with automated liquid handling systems, the SBS microplate format, and the option for manual handling makes them particularly flexible and user-friendly.

Conventional Laboratory Dialysis

In addition to the innovative Xpress Dialyzers™, scienova also offers proven solutions for classical laboratory dialysis – ideal for various applications in research and routine workflows.

GeBAflex Tubes are flexible dialysis tools specifically designed for efficient dialysis and buffer exchange of small sample volumes. They are available in various volume sizes and with different molecular weight cut-offs (MWCO) – perfect for precise and gentle sample purification.

For larger sample volumes or long-term dialysis, the robust Spectra/Por® dialysis tubing is ideal. These classic dialysis membranes allow reliable separation even at high volumes and over extended periods.

The product range is complemented by practical accessories for laboratory dialysis, including deep-well plates, sealing clips, and floats. These components support efficient, flexible, and standardized sample processing – whether manual or automated.

Scienova Cryo Labels

scienova Cryo Labels have been specially developed for the secure and durable labeling of laboratory samples under extreme conditions. They offer exceptional adhesion at temperatures ranging from -196 °C to +121 °C – ideal for long-term storage in liquid nitrogen or transport on dry ice.

Thanks to their temperature resistance, moisture resilience, and chemical durability, the labels are perfectly suited for demanding lab environments. They are also autoclavable and resistant to common laboratory substances.

scienova Cryo Labels come on practical A4 sheets and can be easily printed with standard laser printers or labeled with permanent markers. They are available in various sizes – suitable for microcentrifuge tubes, cryovials, centrifuge tubes, and cryoboxes.
