Description
Key Performance Benefits
Qualified for use from -196 °C (liquid nitrogen) up to +121 °C (autoclave compatible), ensuring total structural stability across all common lab workflows.
Advanced adhesive formula engineered specifically for polypropylene and glass surfaces. Allows application on slightly frozen surfaces (after drying) with high resistance to peeling or cracking.
Optimized for standard laser printers for high-resolution text and barcodes. Fully compatible with ball-point pens and pencils for quick manual bench-side labeling.
Shielded against common laboratory chemicals. Resists short-term exposure to ethanol, DMSO, and heavy detergents, preventing critical data loss during routine handling.
Application Tips for Best Results
- Surface Preparation: For maximum adhesion, ensure the vessel surface is dry and free of oil, moisture, or frost prior to label application.
- Room Temperature Application: Whenever possible, apply labels at room temperature and allow them to “set” for at least 30 minutes before deep-freezing.
- Overlapping Technique: For small-diameter tubes or cryo-vials, apply the label with a slight overlap (wrapping it around itself) to significantly maximize its stay-on power.
Common Applications & Use Cases
- Long-term secure storage of protein, RNA, and DNA samples in ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers.
- Reliable identification of cryo-vials, tubes, and microplates for high-density biobanking.
- Labeling of glass and polymer vessels destined for autoclaving and high-heat sterilization.
- Logistics, cold-chain transport, and distribution of temperature-sensitive samples on dry ice.
